Emily Ratajkowski Shares a Loving Tribute for Her Son Sly's 2nd Birthday

Emily Ratajkowski is celebrating a milestone in baby Sly's life.

The model started off her son Sylvester "Sly" Apollo's birthday week yesterday, sharing a sweet reel in honor of the infant's second birthday. The montage includes several clips from the baby's first two years of life, as well as shots of a pregnant Ratajkowski and some footage taken from the delivery room, as well as the boy's ultrasound.

The video continues on to show the mother and son spending quality time together at home and on vacation, including clips of the duo dancing and cuddling.

"My beautiful baby turns 2 this week and the time has gone by as quickly as this video," she wrote in the caption. "What a two years it’s been, Sly. So much joy, so much pain. So many lessons. I’ll do anything to keep you safe and make sure your life is a wonderful one. Being your mama is magical. I love you more than you could ever know.

In her interview for Harper's BAZAAR's November 2022 cover story, the My Body author reflected on how much her life and priorities have shifted since she welcomed her son with ex Sebastian Bear-McClard in March 2021.

"I've never had such clear priorities before in my life," she says. "Number one is Sly, and that's that. [Motherhood] made me re-evaluate what's important to me, like, what do I want to teach my son?"
